Starting counseling is a big step and can feel challenging. Will anyone understand and help you? Will it be a good fit? Others in your life may not know how to help. I will listen to you, validate your experience, and connect with you. I have specialized knowledge and training to assist you with overcoming pain and struggles. You may feel that issues you have are not enough, or maybe that they are too much, for counseling to help. Perhaps you feel you don’t deserve to focus on your issues. I encourage you to take care of yourself and your needs. By prioritizing yourself, you are finding a way to be healthier for yourself and others. You deserve to feel heard, to be understood, and to heal.

Individual Counseling
Individual counseling offers an individualized approach crafted to address your concerns. It offers specific skills and strategies just for you and your challenges and circumstances. Individual counseling may be short-term or longer (depending on the depth of issues you want to address.) You and I will discuss what we both think is the best fit and adjust length of time accordingly. If we feel your needs are not being met in counseling with me, we will discuss other available options. My specialties of trauma, anxiety, depression, life stressors, and grief/loss touch on much of the human experience.
