I’m So Glad You’re Here
You may struggle to joyfully or even successfully get through the day. Or feel like you don’t deserve to prioritize your needs.
You want to move on from old habits and create new, healthy patterns. You want to live with authenticity and compassion.
I am here for you, and you deserve to feel heard and validated. You deserve to heal, grow, and be your best self.

My Focus
My counseling focus is on you and your individual needs and goals. My approach to counseling uses a collaborative, client-centered focus. I draw from theories that focus on relationship patterns, emotions, and ways of thinking and being that may be holding you back. I attend to the individual differences of my clients and their concerns to individually tailor counseling for each client. I exclusively work with adults and specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, and life stressors. You will find working with me to be a warm, collaborative process where we connect in our counseling relationship, and where you are heard and validated.

Meet Kristin
I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2006. I have a PhD in Counseling Psychology and am a Licensed Psychologist in Texas. I have worked in community mental health centers and university counseling centers for approximately 16 years. Additionally, I have worked in my own private practice for over 3 years. I have specialized training in trauma recovery, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR.) I also have a Telepsychology Competencies Credential. My passion is to connect with others and help them heal and grow, and it is my privilege to journey with my clients along their paths. I deeply care about my clients and their concerns, and I can offer an objective perspective with unconditional support. When I’m not seeing clients, I love to spend time with family and friends, read a book, or watch the latest series.
